Marina Yurasova is ukrainian ethno-jazz singer. She entered pop-vocals department of Glier Music College under supervision of Mrs. T. M. Russova.
During college days she began to write art songs, owing to which she came to famous ukrainian festival ”Chervona Ruta”.
Also she got interested in jazz and began her carrier as a jazz vocalist at student’s ensembles and as a soloist of jazz big-band of Glier Music College. She took part in different art projects of Ukrainian jazz bands, and also set up exclusive concert programmes, which she performed in the musical clubs of Kyiv. Favorite programmes of the audience: “Capricorn’s dreams” (2002) – lyrical jazz project. “Children project” (2004) – based on children songs from movies and cartoons. “Mlada-Bjork acoustic” (2005) – based on songs of the famous singer Bjork arranged in modern jazz version. The idea of the abum “Oy vesna, vesna…” appeared in 2003 in creative unity of “three Capricorns”- Sergey Tabunshik, Marina Yurasova and Pavlo Shepeta following “The Capricorn’s Dreams” jazz project (2002). It consisted in a concept to create modern ukainian project, at the heart of which a synthesis of Ukrainian folklore with other musical trends was taken. In the course of 2004 was recorded and in May 2005 released a new album. The album included seven ancient Ukrainian folk songs and a bonus-track “Capricorn’s dreams”( by S. Tabunshik ). For the folk song “Sydyt’ Mlada za stolychkom ” video clip was also made by V. Priduvalov. After this time Marina Yurasova performing with the origial concert program “Ethno – fantasy Music”.
2007 Mlada takes part in a festival «Jazz-kolo» Kiev, Ukraine.
In 2008 Mlada takes part in an international festival „Jazzperfest” in Kharkov, Ukraine. Also she participates in famous ukrainian ethno-festival „Kraina Mriy” , Kiev.
In 2009 Mlada has become a winner of a prestige Ukrainian competition “Chervona Ruta” in World Music genre. 2010—2011 Mlada successfully tours in the different regions of Ukraine.
Takes part in an international ethno-jazz festival “Flugery L’vova 2011”.
Also Mlada performeswith the origial concert program “Mlada – Bjork Acoustic”.
